# Dedicated IPs Management

This section allows you to manage dedicated IP addresses for your load testing. Dedicated IPs provide consistent source addresses for your performance tests, which can be useful when:

* Testing applications that use IP whitelisting
* Simulating traffic from specific geographic locations
* Conducting tests that require stable, predictable source addresses

The table displays your currently assigned dedicated IPs with the following information:

* Test Name: The associated test
* Status: Current status of the IP
* Dedicated IP: The actual IP address assigned to you
* Geolocation: The geographic location of the IP

To request additional dedicated IPs, use the "Request IP" button in the top right corner. This will allow you to contact the Loadmance team to purchase additional dedicated IPs for your testing needs.

These dedicated IPs can be assigned to specific tests when configuring your load tests, providing more control over your test environment.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://loadmance.gitbook.io/loadmance/documentation/dedicated-ips-management.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
